Poem

Beginning

I’ve done so much,

From biking to swimming,

I’ve learned a lot ,

even though we are just beginning.

So much has happened,

Sometimes good, sometimes bad. 

Some things make me really sad.

I like the boat, 

I swim and float

I like that a lot.

School is okay,

I’ve had better days.

I keep on thinking,

where are my friends,

I look around in all the bends.

But no one shows, no one yet, I’ll have to wait and see.

Waiting is hard, and so is change,

but nothing not within my range.

I’ve moved twice now, I’ve learned a lot,

even when I am crying and my nose is covered in snot.

I am with the people I love everyday,

which is grand,

there couldn’t be a better way.

I will make new friends a new path as well,

not forgetting anyone, making my heart swell.

The sail will fly, I’ll feel free, very happy,

with my family.

Boat news

Hi guys this is Sally we have been on the boat for around 3 months now. It has been a busy summer so far. We have been traveling a lot but now we’re mostly settled.

Heidi,Lucy, and I have been doing sailing lessons and so far

I’ve  capsized 4 times ( all on an opti) I went on a 420 the last couple of days ( turns out I’m not so great with the spinnaker) and my steering on a 420 isn’t great but it was super fun!!!!!! Besides practice makes perfect right!! Now sailing is over 😥. But no more waking up at 7:30😀😀!!!!!!!!!!!! Now the summer is turning into pool,beach,  homeschooling,and sailing!!!!!                It’s a little hard not  see friends as much but we visit often!

Update!

Hello friends! Woah, lots has happened in the past few months. My sisters and I are currently actively participating in daily sailing lessons and we have now started our school work. We have met quite the characters with our sailing classes and truly had tons of fun. Only a few unexpected swims and collisions so everything is good.

Life in the boat is quite something. We are happily living all together in our marina. Life at the marina is quite interesting. We are all finally getting settled and back into some daily routines. We have been all over this summer so it’s nice to finally be back.

School. School is quite different when you are sitting on a couch with your sisters gently rocking back and forth. It’s hard to explain, it’s nice to have your own pace and freedoms and all but then again, wheres the teacher to teach, or the classmates to study with? But I’m sure it will all work out. With Sally’s constant singing and Lucy working hard with post-it’s and me clicking a pen we are having nothing but a blast. We are happy and having loads of fun.

Anyways I just wanted to update y’all on our current state of being and hope that all your days are filled with love and luck.

Living on the boat

Hi Guys, this is Sally I just ended 4th grade and it is now summer! It has been very complicated moving onto our boat! Our boat is much smaller than our house so we have to squeeze stuff in! It is very crowded and everything takes more time! Can’t wait to share our adventure with you!
